Don't
you just love that you can put an "i" in front of any noun and suddenly evoke the mental image of that item,
only in white with purdy bright-colored accents? Say "iPhone" and you can see it, Apple logo in bas relief
there in the corner, slick and small and oh-so-tuneful.The good analysts at Morgan Stanley can see it, too, and they're insisting that Apple is, indeed, working on an iPod-cell phone amalgam. While believe this news to be highly likely, I'm also wondering why Apple would tell their analyst buddies first. Heck, who knows, maybe someone slipped the wrong page into the deck for "Analyst Day" at Apple. Either way, we can all now join the commenters at Engadget in wondering what it would really look like (and it won't look like this: the illustration is a wonderful trip down one artist's imagination).
Update: Engadget analyzes the analysis, and finds itself both underwhelmed and impatient.
