Anna Johns over on TV Squad has an in-depth interview with My Name Is Earl's own Ethan Suplee. Here's a quick excerpt:

AJ: Who would you love to see guest star on the show?

ETHAN: I would love it if a guy like Paul Giamatti would come on the show. Or John C. Reilly would work well in our universe. Steve Buscemi would be amazing. Those are dream, wish list guest star guys.

AJ: What about Kevin Smith?

ETHAN: Oh, yeah! Kevin Smith would be great too. I think we might. It's one of those things where all these people are very busy so a guy like Kevin Smith, it would be one of those things where we'd talk to him and he'd agree to do it, I'm sure. Well, I hope. I think he'd do it.

1. I just started watching my name is earl about a month ago. I find it totally hilarious. Ethan Suplee is one of the best onscreen comedy actors I've seen in a while. Good to see the show is going to be around for a while yet :-)

2. I don't really watch much TV so I'd not heard of My Name Is Earl, and just so happened to be watching TV when it came on. Haven't missed an episode since.

Though I must admit, that some of the episodes seem like they're just trying to fill up all the time in the block without spending much money. Like the total cop-out episode with the water tower.

3. 'Earl' is most overrated piece of flotsam on TV! Did you see the one where Earl tried to hook up with the college professor played by Ben Stiller?s wife? Marcia Brady? That episode really rocked.

4. How did they film the opening sequence where Earl is hit by the car? The first time I saw that I just about spit out my drink!

5. Earl is the best show on T.V. - it's one of the only reasons my T.V. even comes on... Love it!
